Immersive Scene News:

Immersive Scene Los Angeles is getting several tips about productions in the future, and three in particular have us very excited!

First off, sometime this Spring, the reimagined "Poe-Etique" will unveil its latest iteration at MiViDa in Frogtown. As you may know, Poe-Etique 2025 was one of our highest rated productions last year, an incredible journey into immersive at its highest levels. Where will Vincenzo Carubia and his team take the next one? We'll soon see.

Much later in 2026, "Meow Wolf" debuts their sixth mega-production (L.A. debut) in our fair city. The press release claims it's "Filled with cinematic grandeur, mysterious Easter Eggs, the forgotten sad side of Hollywood, and glamorous glitz." The art installation/immersive extravaganza is reportedly in the middle of turning an old theatre into their home for this West Coast event. No dates scheduled yet .

Lastly, but certainly not least, Immersive Scene L.A. recently heard from Paul Millett, the former artistic director of Wicked Lit. Millet has formed a new company and will be debuting "Theatre Obscura LA" sometime in March. The production will be "a unique immersive theatrical experience that features no visual elements or design, but rather will use our other senses to experience the story and let our imaginations run wild." Millet's amazing work at Wicked Lit was a highlight each year for immersive fans, so we can't wait to see what he'll deliver in his new venture. Stay tuned!
